By supporting projects with clear results and sustainable solutions both in Sweden and worldwide, we hope to contribute to a better world for mankind, nature and animals. Among the organizations and projects that we support are for example, the Clinton Climate Initiative, Wateraid Sweden, RFSU and the World's Children's Prize.
The end of the civil war in April 2009 generated enormous numbers of IDP refugees in Sri lanka. Within 24 hours, the Foundation was able to provide 1 million Swedish crowns in extra emergency relief to the Danish Demining Group (DDG). DDG is currently carrying out an emergency operation in northern Sri Lanka, clearing land mines in order to create an area where 6 000 IDP refugees can be re-settled. Rapid measures in critical situations are possible thanks to the Foundations policy, which is based on short lead times and quick decisions.

The Swedish Postcode Foundation continuously receives project ideas and proposals for funding and has no specific application deadline during the year. We operate in two main areas: nature and environment, with emphasis on nature conservation, climate and sustainable energy sources and secondly, people's living conditions, with emphasis on poverty reduction, human rights and peacebuilding.
