Our Results
The results from the projects we support, mirror our purpose - to promote a sustainable development for mankind and nature by supporting short-term projects that contribute to a better world. The magnitude of the work done in the projects is exemplified by following figures:
12 counsellors have been trained to provide legal assistance on legal issues regarding disability matters.
10 000 solar cell lights have been distributed to families in Sudan. 2 500 families have, in addition, learned how to use solar powered ovens.
20 000 children in Uganda have been trained in children´s rights and democracy and participated in the World's Children's Prize Global Vote.
8 000 children in Myanmar have been trained in children´s rights and democracy and participated in the World's Children's Prize Global Vote.
125 000 trees are being planted this year in the Darfur region in Africa.
