Helping Burmese refugees in Thailand
The Postcode Foundation supports Thailand Burma Border Consortium (TBBC) in their efforts to assist Burmese refugees who have fled the military regime in their homeland. Today, there are approximately one million Burmese refugees, half of them are children under the age of 15. Most of the refugees live in camps in Thailand close to the Burmese border. TBBC is working in the field together with local organizations to improve the lives of these people, the Foundations support goes specifically to secure the supply of food and shelter.
